How many times have you scrolled past a post that suggested “3 creative ways to pray” or “10 ways to pray” and kept scrolling?

Did you think…BORRINNGG?

Ain’t got time for that.

Sadly, we don’t always understand the power of prayer, nor do we truly comprehend that God loves us and wants a deeper relationship with us through prayer.

Ouch!

I have a solution!

If you want to connect with God on a deeper level, then check out these 29 creative ways to pray (with examples).

Prayer is easy, it’s just talking to God like a friend (because He is your friend.)

    • Ufoma, this is such a powerful weapon. I pray scriptures quite often. It helps me put the right words in my mouth when I don’t know what to say. Thanks for your comment.

  2. I love these ideas! Especially the one about praying over your children as you hold them. So powerfully simple and beautiful!

    • Lieren, yes! This is one of my favorite things to do. I still do it even though my kids are grown. So…I’m not always holding them, but quietly praying when they are telling me about an issue they are having. I pray for God to give me wisdom in my answers. Thanks for commenting.

    • I do this one quite often. It helps to be outside and connect with God through nature. I wish I lived near woods, but a sidewalk will have to do! Thanks for the comment.

  3. Great tips! I use many of these myself! I particularly like to pray as I take my dog for a walk. Finding quiet moments with young children can be hard! Thanks for sharing these!

    • Natacha, isn’t that the truth! I often take very long baths just to get away for a bit. My kids are older but I still have one at home. Being a mom is emotional, wonderful, and painful all at once. I wouldn’t trade it though! I have found prayer to be the single best thing to help through some very difficult parenting trials, that is for sure.
